Being an experiment in comparing our culture with what it HAS BEEN, and what it SHOULD BE.
If it is your machine, there are ways to fix Win 8. I just worked on my friends computer, adding Start 8 and a companion program that allows apps to be run in the new windowed environment (with a start button). If it isn't your machine, or you can't set it up... Well, there are tears. You can fully convert a Win 8 to, essentially, a Win 7/XP, sort of. Set up is easy with Start 8. The two programs I paid to use from Stardock were $7.99. I thought that was purchase price, but it may be a yearly thing. There is a free one out there, too, though it is more complicated to work with and set up.
Doom, I hate Win8.And I love you. Thanks SO much for the intel!!
