@Jay --- Some of the MST3K comments about the movie were funny but, as a rule, I prefer my films uncluttered.

@Michael W - Some speculation on the Classic Horror Film board has it that MST3K may have been one of the driving forces behind todays' general rudeness in movie theaters.

Hardly go to the movies anymore. Nothing worth seeing anyway.

@Jay --- Now that's an interesting theory. When I first saw MST3K ("The Black Scorpion") it put me in mind of Saturday afternoons in the dormitory television room.

Just got back from seeing remastered editions of "Frankenstein" and "The Bride of Frankenstein" at the theater. Nicely behaved crowd. Frankly, I don't encounter as much rudeness as others seem to. Then again: the sort of movies I prefer usually don't attract the rude crowds.
