Y'know I used to think this was funny. But I'm beginning to suspect that this has been maliciously distributed among studio execs.

And there's also the new mantra: "When in doubt, Remake."

Given the choice between "Remake" and "Generator", I take "Generator"...

Unless it's what Syfy uses to plan THEIR movies.

If there was any actual planning going on behind Syfy's movies it's news to me.

OK. You MUST find the "Family Guy" episodes of "South Park".

You just have to trust me.

Yeah, I know. That "trust me" bit ALWAYS bodes well.

I guess I'll have to. "The Family Guy" makes my stomach turn, and I've been so out of touch with "South Park" that I probably wouldn't recognize the cast of characters now. The last episode of "South Park" I remember enjoying was the infamous "Mecha-Streisand" one.

"Family Guy" used to be funny ..... long ago. When they made fun of John McCains' imprisonment during the Vietnam war I pretty much dropped it.

These are not remakes. As one smirking, smug producer whose name I cannot remember said: "We're not remaking it. We're reinventing it." Oh. That pretty much clears it up for me.
