This is overwhelmingly cute.
(Fumiko's Confession)

The dialog (from the Anime News Network forum)

"Umm, umm. Please go out with me!"
"Sorry! Right now, I want to concentrate on baseball!"
--------------------------
"
Takasu-kun, you idiot!"
--------------------------
"I'll make miso soup for you every morning!"
"Sorry! I want to concentrate on baseball!"

I found this on Jerry Beck's and Amid Amidi's excellent Cartoon Brew blog. If you like animation, PLEASE budget some time and visit the place!

*LMAO*
The dialogue made more sense than the cartoon!
I'll bet this could be adapted into a pretty good Bob-and-Tom-Show routine:
"Time now for, The Guy That'd Rather Do Baseball Practice Than His Girlfriend" or something...

That made my head hurt.

By the way, should I have noticed how many shots we got of her panties...?

Panty shots?

Welcome to anime. The Japanese have interesting little fetishes.

Doesn't do anything for me.

Take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

Hey Aardvark,

I finally posted a new somethin' on my blog. Life has been really great lately, so I kind of overlooked my bloggin' responsibilities. :-)

Catch ya later!

The panties do nothing for me either.

So go ahead and post lots more.

Wow.

It must be that I am pure as the driven slush, but I had not really...quantified the preponderance of panty shots.

If anime is an accurate portrayal of Japanese culture (he pauses a beat) then the whole of the Japanese public school system is geared toward providing maximum opportunity for such displays.

Such a studious nation is Japan.

Nah, I used to watch anime a lot, and happened to notice the panties business. Seems that there's some kind of cultural fetish about schoolgirl panties over there...

...Yeah.

Used to.

USED TO?!?

(shakes head) When did you leave the True Path?
