Being an experiment in comparing our culture with what it HAS BEEN, and what it SHOULD BE.
Well, the action figure on the left is Titan from "Stingray", so I guess a pun involving "Typhoo" is involved. But my cleverness chip needs replacing.
The Titanican Sea God (a bloated grouper) was named "Teufel" ("Devil" for those not in the know), but to these American ears, the name sounded like "Tie-phoo" or "Tie-phoe". Ian found this British import tea and gave it to me for my birthday this year. The gag made me chortle.
Okay, now I got it.I always wonder why Troy Tempest didn't simply kick in the glass on Teufel's aquarium? "Hey Titanians . . . your god is flopping around and gasping on the floor."
What?! Do all that action with only one Marine Minute left?
It would've been worth it to see X20 coming in with a bucket and mop.
