Short, sweet, and watch me hold my breath.
Dear Congressman (Parker) Griffith:
Please vote against the economic stimulus "bailout" bill. From my reading, it appears to be a "winner" for existing project budgets, but a loser for actual stimulus and private-sector employment expansion. Despite our President's well-intentioned blandishments, I urge you not to vote for the bill. There is no Constitutional authority for this move to goose the economy. It is using the same tactics as Hoover and Roosevelt, which wound up prolonging the Great Depression.
Thank you for your time. I hope that you will truly represent me.

Our Alabama senators have voted no in the past. Richard Shelby has received this as well.

I like the new NH state house amendment that threatens succession due to nullification of the original principles of the Constitution. We just need a plurality of states to pass similar bills to send a huge message to King Obama.
Constitutional authority? No one on the Hill has been bothered by that little bugaboo for over 40 years. I poured quarts of sweat writing & calling my 'reps' on the last shamnesty bill and the border still isn't secure, so I dare to say that our little thoughts about the porkulus bill will receive equal ignorance.
Yeah, Anon, but it has to be said, and they have to know that WE know.
The secession thing is excellent, and I'd sign the sucker.
Beyond that, I think the ONLY way short of bloodshed that the need for a return to our Republic (I feel like Claudius) will be understood by our "reps" is if We the People will just STOP feeding the Beast. EVERYONE stop paying. The operative idea being "they can't arrest 'em all!"
