I don't know how seriously you should take that, I entered three pieces of writing and got three different answers.#1 Douglas Adams. I wish, but no.#2 Arthur Clarke. Am I using British spelling or something?#3 Margaret Atwood. And now I'm insulted.
I entered a sample from one of my Sandra Swift tales and was informed that I write like Chuck Palahniuk.
Here was Ian McLeod's response to the "news":"It's those damn compound-complex Latinate sentences. We can both blame Sheridan Baker."And Rigel, not it all, beyond a temporary feeling of being charmed.Eldritch, actually....
Dan Brown, X.X. Wallace, and from the first two parts of the same story I wrote? Dunno...I'm thinking if they told me I wrote like Elmer Fudd, I might have bought it. :p
